Two factor "SMS" authentication ("2FA") has arrived to LegalCollect! đ
Dashboard
You'll see a notification on your dashboard where 2FA is not turned on for your LegalCollect account, it will prompt you to navigate to the "Security" settings screen so you can turn it on.
Security Settings
The new "Security" settings screen allows you to turn on/off 2FA, and shows a log of each activation and deactivation of the feature. Simply click "Activate 2FA" to enhance the security of your LegalCollect account.
Logging In
Where 2FA is turned on you'll be prompted to enter a six-digit code that is sent to the mobile phone number stored against your LegalCollect user account. You'll only need to do this once every 8 hours, unless your IP address or device changes (eg: if you move from your office, to your home you'll need to re-authenticate via SMS).
